The Silverton Forums Posting Guidelines

The Silverton Forums is a free and open venue for the discussion of all models and years of Silverton boats and the sport of fishing. Any opinions and/or comments posted in the various forums are those of registered individuals and not necessarily those of the owner or moderators. The intent of these forums is to meet other Silverton boat owners in a free and open setting for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and share an overall interest in boating and fishing.

This is a family site. Therefore, the following is not allowed at any time and will result in a locked thread, removed thread or have an account permanently removed:

· Posts may not encourage illegal activity.

· Posts may not contain any vulgarity. Keep it PG-13.

· Posts may not contain, in any manner, links to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by the owner or moderators to be detrimental to this forum community.

· Posts should not threaten or demean anyone in the forum community. Productive discussions on opinions of ideas or views related to boating, maintenance, and fishing are encouraged. DO NOT engage in name calling or other negative posts when discussing a difference of opinion. This will surely have someone removed immediately.

· Any abuse towards the admin or moderators, in any form, may result in immediate removal of your account.

· There should be no posts outside of the intent of this forum. For example, views on politics do not belong on this forum. Please keep posts relative to the topic of the specific forum or thread.

· If you SPAM other members in any manner, your account will be removed.

· We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature at any time, for any reason.

These forum guidelines are a work in progress. They are subject to change or update at any time without notice. So review often for updates. Please follow these guidelines when using the Silverton Forums.

Posting as a New Forum Member

As a new member, please take the time to introduce yourself and let us know some general information about your boat and where you spend most of your time on the water. The most important thing a new member can is post often and don’t be afraid to join in on a discussion thread.

Selling Your Personal Boating & Fishing Merchandise

Forum members may only post their personal boating and fishing items for sale in the For Sale forum. Any for sale posts outside of the For Sale forum will be removed.
